The Betfair Masters Day 4
Yesterday seen more talk about Judd Trump’s shoes than actual Snooker but the story of the day had to be Shaun Murphy’s dismissal of waiting reporters to sign autographs for fans in the arena, The WPBSA sent a letter to members yesterday in regards to travel arrangements which will go along way to help those players in the lower ranks.
Murphy came through against Ricky Walden yesterday for a 6-4 win, trailing by 1 frame to ricks 4 on the board Murphy stormed through to victory.
Also Yesterday Judd Trump beat Barry Hawkins 6-5, Hawkins got off to a great start and was leading 2-1 by frame three, Hawkins a 5-3 leader then lost 3 frame for Trump to come through the winner.
Today
Matthew Stevens v Mark Williams
Level pegging on stats but but Williams leading on overall wins this could be a hard one for The Welsh Dragon Stevens but he has proven strong in the past in big event against his fellow Welshman, top money is still on Williams but a cheeky £5 on Stevens could pay out.
Mark Selby v Stuart Bingham
Stuart has proved his worth against the elite before and I am sure he can do it again today, money on Bingham for this one, Stuart has not taken any time out for a rest and has been at the practice table over the holiday period and could be in better form today.
